These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of campus.clothing and the services provided by Campus Clothing (“Campus Clothing,” “we,” “us”). By browsing the site, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What Campus Clothing is
Campus Clothing is a software platform. It lets schools, districts, teams, clubs and booster groups (“Organizers”) and the print shops that work with them (“Print Shops”) offer custom apparel and merchandise through private online stores, and lets parents, guardians and supporters (“Buyers”) order from those stores.
Unless a store or your receipt says otherwise, the seller of the goods in a store is the Organizer or Print Shop named on it, not Campus Clothing. The seller is responsible for the products, their production, delivery, sales tax and customer service, including refunds. Campus Clothing provides the technology that takes the order and processes the payment on the seller's behalf.
2. Accounts
- You can order as a guest, or create an account to see your order history.
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order or create an account.
- Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@campus.clothing if you think it has been misused.
- Staff accounts are created by invitation and may be limited or removed by the Organizer or Print Shop that granted them.
3. Ordering (for Buyers)
Store access
Stores are private and opened with a store code and password, or a QR code. Please don't share a store's password outside the group it was intended for.
Prices and fees
Prices are set by the seller and shown in U.S. dollars. Your total, including size upcharges, personalization, discounts and any service fee, is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Some stores add a service fee to cover card processing; if so, it is shown at checkout. Applicable taxes are the seller's responsibility and may be included in the price.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. If a store allows cash or check, your order is not final until the Organizer marks it paid. Vouchers and coupons are issued by Organizers, have no cash value, and may carry their own limits or expiration.
Deadlines and production
Each store has an ordering deadline. Stores close automatically when the deadline passes, and unfinished carts can no longer be checked out. Items are usually produced together after the store closes, so delivery dates shown on a store are estimates. Most orders are delivered to the school or team for pickup.
Personalization
You are responsible for checking sizes, spelling, names and numbers before you submit. Items are produced exactly as entered. Please don't enter text that is offensive, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use; sellers may cancel and refund such orders.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
Because items are made to order, they generally can't be returned or exchanged unless they are defective or don't match your order. Contact the store's Organizer about changes or cancellations, ideally before the store closes. Refunds are approved by the seller and returned to your original payment method. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
4. Running stores (for Organizers and Print Shops)
- You are responsible for the stores you run: the products and prices you list, the accuracy of store information, and fulfilling, delivering and supporting the orders you accept.
- You must own or have permission to use every logo, mascot, name, design and image you upload. This includes school and district trademarks and any licensed marks. We may remove content or disable a store in response to a credible infringement claim.
- You may use Buyer information only to fulfill, support and account for orders, and you must protect it and comply with applicable privacy laws and your institution's policies.
- Payment accounts are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Fees, payout timing and any platform fee are as agreed with us and shown in your admin tools and reports.
- You are responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax on your sales, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- If we collect payments for you, we pay out the amount you're owed (the order total less processing and platform fees, and any refunds or disputes) as described in your admin tools.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to sell goods you don't have the right to sell.
- Upload content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Try to access stores, accounts or data you aren't authorized to access, or guess store passwords.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use bots to scrape it.
6. Our content and your content
The Campus Clothing software, site design and brand belong to us. Organizers keep ownership of the content they upload and give us a limited license to host, display and use it to run their stores (for example, on store pages, flyers and reports). We may use an Organizer's name as a customer reference only with their permission.
7. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Stripe for payments. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access to the service, a store or an account if these Terms are violated, to prevent fraud or harm, or if required by law. Orders already paid for will be handled fairly, which may include a refund.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Products are warranted, if at all, by their seller.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Campus Clothing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid through the service in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
Organizers and Print Shops agree to defend and indemnify Campus Clothing against claims arising from their stores, products, uploaded content, or violation of these Terms or the law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Campus Clothing has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can't, the dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date, and give additional notice of significant changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
